& Events

This space holds an evolving programme of courses, workshops, and creative events inspired by my studio practice. These offerings shift throughout the year and may include drawing and painting courses, field-based observational work, and in-person or online workshops exploring British landscapes, botanical forms, fungi, wildlife, and the idea of place as a threshold into attention and creative connection. All teaching is held in Manchester, UK, unless otherwise stated.

Each experience is rooted in slow observation, expressive mark making, and the belief that creativity can be a way of reconnecting with the natural world. Join the newsletter to be notified of new releases and upcoming events.

Calm Art: A Six-Week Creative Wellbeing Course

Discover a slower, more restorative way to create.

Calm Art is a six-week, process-led painting course designed to help you unwind, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with your creativity. Rather than focusing on artistic skill or the finished artwork, each session uses mindful, structured creative exercises that encourage calm, confidence and presence.

Held in my intimate studio in the heart of Didsbury Village in Manchester, UK, this small-group course is limited to just three participants, creating a peaceful and supportive environment where you can truly switch off.

No previous art experience is required. All materials are provided.

The Artist’s Way: 12-Week
Creative Recovery Course

A guided group journey through creativity, clarity, and reconnection.

Based on the bestselling book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, this 12-week course is designed to help you reconnect with your creative self, rebuild trust in your intuition, and gently remove the blocks that stand in the way of making.

This is a structured, supportive group experience for anyone who feels creatively stuck, disconnected, or ready to return to their practice with more consistency and confidence.

Each week we meet to reflect on key themes from the book, share insights, and work through creative exercises together in a calm, contained group setting.
